Welcome to the Darkness Over Paradise documentary website, developed to expose the atrocities committed during the civil war in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Darkness over Paradise was created by journalists from Sierra Leone who reside in Sydney NSW, Australia, in partnership with community-based arts and IT organisation Information and Cultural Exchange.
This project has been assisted by the NSW Film and Television Office, Mercy Foundation, ACL, and the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts (through its Emerging Communities Initiative, Community Cultural Development).
